Siblinghood

The first fact of life about my siblings is that I knew them before they knew themselves.

After a few months of living our separate lives, we had an opportunity to spend time together again. We watched X-Men, attended mass at Greenbelt Church, basically went out as friends.

It was a nice feeling, going out with my brother and sister. Our attachment with each other is on a different level. Something primal, something raw, something limitless. When I'm with Pat and Anne, there are things that I do only with them and never show it to my friends. Must be the fact that we've known each other and lived with each other all our lives.

The memories we have of each other are not just memories. They are milestones in our lives, witnessed by them.

While driving home, we talked about our disgusting habits as children and toddlers, specific events that only the 3 of us know and we would end up laughing like crazy as we reminisce the past.

It was great. Maybe I'm getting older...
